What is Promitto Connect – and why did we create a system?
One system. Many possibilities.
Lighting on a construction site, in a tunnel or in a demanding working environment needs to do more than simply illuminate an area. It needs to be easy to install, easy to use and reliable throughout the entire project.
That is why we developed Promitto Connect.
Promitto Connect brings several of our lighting solutions together in one flexible system. You can combine work lighting, powerful area lighting and emergency lighting as needed – and build the solution around your project.
Why one system?
We have been working with LED lighting for demanding environments since 2015. Over the years, we have encountered the same challenges again and again.
Construction lighting often needs to:
- be quick to install
- cover large areas
- withstand dust, moisture and demanding conditions
- provide good and even work lighting
- be easy to move or expand
- work together with other lighting solutions
- maintain safety in the event of a power failure
When each function requires a separate solution, planning, installation and operation can become more complicated.
We wanted to make it easier – so we created the Promitto Connect system.
The Promitto Connect system can be a combination of:
LED strip on reels
Flexible lighting for long distances.
The LED strip lights can be connected in long runs and are well suited for construction sites, tunnels and other temporary installations.
👉 Both can be connected to create a total length of up to 150 metres.
LED strip lights on cardboard reels (ECO)
For more sustainable projects:
- SafeLight ECO – 1500 lm/m
- M-Flex ECO – 900 lm/m
- Supplied on cardboard reels, 2 per box
- Colour temperature: 4000K

Floodlights – when you need powerful area lighting
Some areas need more than linear lighting.
HighLite is a powerful LED floodlight range that can be used together with our LED strip lights to illuminate larger areas, work surfaces or zones that require additional light.
This allows you to combine even, linear work lighting with powerful spot or area lighting.
- Power: 50W–280W
Can be connected directly to the LED strip lights using a T-split to branch the lighting or illuminate in different directions
Emergency Lighting Module – added safety when the power goes out
Work lighting should provide good working conditions. But what happens if the power goes out?
With Promitto’s Emergency Lighting Module, SafeLight and M-Flex can function as emergency lighting in the event of a power failure.
The module keeps the lighting running at reduced brightness using battery backup. This provides important orientation lighting when the normal power supply is interrupted.
This makes it possible to combine work lighting and emergency lighting within the same system.
Emergency LED strips – visible marking when it really matters
Promitto Connect can also be used with LED strips for clear visual marking.
The strips are available in red, green and blue, and can be used for different types of marking and signalling.
This provides additional options when lighting also needs to contribute to safety and orientation.
From a single LED strip into a complete lighting system
The combination is what really matters.
Promitto Connect is not about one individual product. It is about how several solutions can work together.
Imagine a large construction project where you can build a simple lighting solution that fits the project, instead of having to adapt the project into multiple lighting solutions and units that does not connect.

Promitto Connect can be used in many different types of projects.
We have supplied lighting solutions for major infrastructure projects across the Nordic region and Europe.
At E4 Förbifart Stockholm, Promitto supplied approximately 55,000 metres of LED lighting across 33 areas.
For the Fehmarnbelt project, we supplied approximately 100,000 metres of temporary LED lighting, including battery backup.
The projects are different. The requirements are different.
But the principle is the same:
