The most powerful LED-strip on the market
Promitto Group AS, formerly known as Eledge Lighting, is a Norwegian manufacturer of linear LED lighting. With new technology and innovative solutions, they have raised the standard for LED strips on reels for the construction industry.
Promitto Group AS specializes in linear LED lighting. Since its inception in 2015, they have focused on developing the best and safest LED strips for construction. They emphasize new technology, high quality, and innovative solutions. Their goal is to create value for customers through solutions that save time, resources, and money.
Their products have been well received across the Nordic region. They now present the new product, SafeLight 1500.
«Our goal was to create the best, most powerful, and safest LED strip, and we believe SafeLight fulfills that. SafeLight is made with the latest LED technology, and we use only the most efficient and stable diodes available." SafeLight is specifically designed for tough Nordic conditions, including cold and moisture. The strip is encapsulated with multiple layers of protection for a long lifespan»,
says Daniel Brekke, Managing Director and Product Developer at Promitto.
One Product, Many Applications
SafeLight is delivered on a convenient reel, shining with 1500 lumens per meter. Each reel contains 25 meters of LED strip, which can easily be connected to create light chains up to 150 meters long. This makes SafeLight perfect for illuminating corridors, staircases, scaffolding, elevator shafts, tunnels, and for area security along fences or marking exits.
The light is powerful enough to provide general lighting throughout buildings, replacing many traditional lighting forms.
«The feedback from customers who have tested SafeLight has been overwhelmingly positive. Brightness, flexibility, and ease of use are highlighted. One reel of SafeLight replaces five classic light fixtures, saving costs on transport, handling, and storage», explains Daniel Brekke.
Integrated Emergency Lighting
SafeLight is the only LED strip on the market with an innovative and unique built-in emergency system. For example, in the event of a power outage, the photoluminescent material lights up brightly, creating guidelines to show the way out.
«We focus heavily on health and safety and continuously improve our products. When developing SafeLight, we aimed to elevate quality and usability. We achieved this by making the LED strip photoluminescent", says Daniel Brekke.
Strong focus on details increases user safety
Promitto Group AS has many years of experience in professional lighting solutions and possesses both the equipment and expertise to develop competitive lighting systems. We aim to deliver the best and safest lighting solutions, which is why we have paid great attention to detail when developing SafeLight.
«SafeLight simply has a better construction than competing LED strips. For example, it comes with double padding and thicker conductors, making it extra robust and very safe to use. Additionally, SafeLight has one driver per meter, compared to competing LED strips that only have one driver per 25-meter strip. This provides a more consistent light along the entire strip,», explains Daniel Brekke.
SafeLight is also easy to handle, quick to install, and requires no maintenance. It has no breakable parts or bulbs that need replacing—it’s plug and play!
SafeLight is Nemko-certified
In Norway, all work lighting must be at least CE-certified. Promitto Group AS has gone further by obtaining third-party certification for SafeLight as an additional quality seal.
«We are extremely proud that SafeLight, like our other reels, is the only LED strip reel in Norway that is Nemko-certified. This provides our customers with extra assurance that our LED strips are very safe to use, even in cold and exposed environments,», says Daniel Brekke.
Promitto SafeLight SafeLight is Nemko-certified and can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is water- and dust-proof, with both the LED strip and connection point having an IP65 rating. For added safety, the connection point uses a screw connection, making it fully water- and dust-tight.
Proper work lighting can reduce accident risks
In the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority’s report, “Accidents in Construction 2020,” it was found that falls accounted for approximately 45% of accidents on Norwegian construction sites in 2019, such as falls from heights and scaffolding. The report does not mention inadequate lighting as a contributing factor to these accidents.
«We cannot directly link insufficient lighting as a contributing cause of workplace accidents, but we believe that proper and good work lighting helps people work better, faster, and safer, thereby minimizing the risk of serious accidents. Our goal is to create safe workplaces, prevent accidents, and protect the environment through smart, user-friendly lighting products. With SafeLight, you get a top-quality product that ensures optimal lighting conditions, while being safe to use,», concludes Daniel Brekke.
