Terms and Conditions

These terms of sale apply to all sales of goods from the online store to consumers and for online store sales. The customer’s order confirmation/order, together with these terms, constitute the complete agreement for the transaction.

These terms apply only to sales within Norway, including Svalbard and Jan Mayen. Any shipping costs to the latter must be arranged over the phone after order registration. Customers outside this area must contact us by letter, email, or telephone.

Sales to consumers are regulated by, among other things, the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act and the Right of Withdrawal Act.

Prices

The prices include 25% VAT.
If VAT, taxes, or other fees are adjusted, our prices will be revised accordingly.
We reserve the right to change the prices on the website without prior notice.

Purchase

All orders are considered binding. You will receive an order confirmation via email with all relevant information. Additionally, you will receive an email with updates as your order is processed.

Your Right to Cancel and Return

No transaction is finalized until you have inspected and approved the product. Should you wish to cancel a purchase, notify us via email or return the product in its complete original packaging within 30 days from the date you received the goods, along with documented reasons for returning the item. You can choose either a replacement product or a refund. Please note that the cancellation period extends to 3 months if the return explanation document is not included with the item.

The condition for a return is that the product has not been used and can be resold as new. All tags must remain attached, and the original packaging must also be included.

You may return a product without providing a reason, but we always appreciate it if you describe the reason for the return on the return form so that we can improve our services.

Complete the return explanation document and indicate which items you are returning. Once we have received the product(s) in undamaged condition, we will refund the amount you paid within 30 days. Provide your bank or postal account number on the return form for a swift refund; otherwise, the funds will be sent via a standard payment slip. We do not cover return shipping costs.

Right of Withdrawal

For your purchases, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies. We have chosen to extend this period to 30 days. During this period, you have the right to withdraw, meaning you can return the items you received without any obligations on your part, except for transportation costs. You must return the items in undamaged and unused condition. The fees are the same regardless of how many items you purchased. If the product has been used, we kindly ask you to contact us directly.

Force Majeure

In the event of a situation that makes it impossible for us to fulfill our obligations under this agreement, and which is considered a Force Majeure event according to standard contract law, the affected party’s obligations will be suspended for as long as the extraordinary situation persists. Force Majeure includes, for example, changes in legislation, labor disputes, strikes, lockouts, or other circumstances beyond the control of the parties, such as war, riots, fire, explosions, or intervention by public authorities. The same applies in the case of sudden changes in product labeling requirements, warning texts, sales bans, or governmental decisions that negatively impact the market and products, or an abnormal downturn in the market.

Age Limit

To make purchases in our online store, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you can have an adult, such as a guardian, make the purchase on your behalf.

Information Provided in the Online Store

We strive to provide our customers with the most accurate information possible about our products. However, we reserve the right for any typographical or printing errors that may occur, which could result in us being unable to deliver in accordance with the information provided in our online store, marketing materials, or elsewhere.

Installation of Electrical Equipment

You must always use a registered installation company when installing electrical products purchased from us. Electrical installation materials intended to be part of a fixed electrical system may only be installed by a registered installation company. We disclaim any responsibility for warranties if unauthorized personnel have performed the installation. Promitto Group AS cannot be held financially liable should this occur.
