Below is a list of when and how we process personal data in each case. Promitto Group AS processes certain types of personal data. You can find an overview of the types of data we process above. In most cases, our legal basis for processing is consent, with one exception. This means that we collect and process personal data based on consent from the data subject. However, for purchases made in our online store, the legal basis for processing is not consent, but rather the necessity for contract fulfillment, in addition to statutory requirements for bookkeeping.

These numbers are collected and processed solely by the payment provider. Company name, organization number, and contact person details are required for business purchases.

To complete a purchase in the online store, we require the name, address, and contact information necessary for processing payments and shipping goods, as well as for issuing invoices when selected. The contact information may also be used to communicate with the buyer regarding the purchase. Social security numbers and identification numbers are utilized by the financing provider to conduct a credit check in connection with the use of invoices and financing services. The information will also be used for accounting purposes.

Personal data is retained in accordance with the Accounting Act, typically for 10 years after the end of the financial year. If an agreement for an extended warranty on the product has been made, the information will be stored for as long as the warranty is valid, but not for less than 10 years.
